We survived our family trip to Notre Dame. Our 6 hour drive took 7 1/2 hours on the way to Notre Dame and 9 on the way home. Such is the unpredictable nature of travelling with 2 year olds.
We had a great time and enjoyed seeing friends once again. Some thoughts from the weekend... The rooms in Walsh Hall are pretty shabby. Were the rooms in BP and Zahm this bad when we lived there? Surely not! But we were quite thankful that we were given 3 adjoining rooms with our own bathroom including a bathtub.
Most of our friends and us are not where we thought we'd be at the ripe old age of 42. Teresa would never have expected to be married to Coma or having a new baby at this age!
